Local Sight

Sight 2 for the 7 Sights Challenge

I went for a beautiful walk along Manly Beach this morning and captured my LOCAL SIGHT at the Fairy Bower Ocean Pool. One of my favourite local spots, with the Sea Nymphs statues overlooking the ocean. 👀

Very happy to be adding 4.4km to my 7 Sights Challenge activity tracker as well. Five more sights to go and I think I need to rack up a few more kms as well. 🚶‍📸

As it is World Glaucoma Week this week I really want to remind all my family and friends to visit their local optometrist for a comprehensive eye health check if you haven't had one lately.

Glaucoma is called the 'sneak thief of sight' because you do not know if you have it until significant vision loss has already occurred.

So treat your eyes to a little eye exam. It is quick and painless and can save sight.

Wildlife Sight

Today marks the start of World Glaucoma Week (12 March) and I'll be taking on the 7 Sights Challenge again this year to raise money to fund sight saving research, support people living with glaucoma and to increase early detection rates.
Did you know that 50% of Australians with glaucoma don't know they have it? So, if you haven't had an eye exam recently put it on your to do list.
Here is my first sight: The Wildlife Sight. I didn't have to go very far to find this one, as this beautiful creature gently floated into my backyard. So mesmerising.
I'm looking forward to finding six more sights and sharing the gift of sight with you all.
